Mabon/Autumn Equinox and Harvest Moon Reading

Happy Mabon/Autumn Equinox. Tomorrow morning is the Equinox and Autumn officially begins. The equinox is when there are equal hours of light and dark--a perfect balance. Mabon is the time when we celebrate the second harvest and enjoy foods like apples, corn, squash, and all the other abundant autumnal fruits and vegetables. We also look to our own personal harvests and celebrate all our hard work and the fruits of our labor. This is a time to check in with yourself regarding goals that you might have set earlier this year--take stock--how are you doing with the intentions you set? Make adjustments and clear out whatever is standing in the way of your harvest. Meditate for clarity and balance in preparation for the coming winter. We also have a Full Moon this weekend in Aires and there will be a Total Lunar Eclipse. The energies can be a little intense right now, especially with Mercury Retrograde. I am doing a reading for the rest of the week, using the Archangel Michael Oracle cards.

The card for tomorrow (Wednesday) and Thursday is Shield Yourself. This card is confirming the intense energies going on right now. You may be around people who anger quickly, or you might yourself. It's important right now to pay close attention to what you say and how you say it to your loved ones and community. We are all especially sensitive this week, especially for all the empaths and intuitives out there. Archangel Michael is shielding you from harsh energy. The best thing to do, if possible, over the next couple of days is to stay away from environments where anger might escalate--like bars. Try and avoid situations where anger and/or competition is expressed--if you're a sports fan--maybe stay away from the sports bars. Follow your intuition as to who, if anyone, you want to surround yourself with. You might want to spend some extra time alone over the next couple of days. If you work with crystals and minerals--wear your protective stones--obsidian, black kyanite, black tourmaline, smoky quartz. Here's a prayer to use with calling upon Archangel Michael: Archangel Michael, I ask that you protect me, my loved ones, my vehicle, and my home with your powerful shield. Surround us in your purple light, which allows only pure love to penetrate. Please stay with me day and night, and keep my loved ones safe (you can name specific people or situations).

The card for the weekend is Positive Thoughts Create Positive Results. Most of you already know this, but we all need reminders from time to time. This isn't always the easiest thing to do, but it's absolutely imperative for a happy and fulfilling life. This action is going to help any situation you may be dealing with. Archangel Michael is asking you to purge your thoughts and what you say of any worries or other negativity that could diminish your manifestation. The moon being in Aries this weekend can escalate feelings and expressions of anger. Beware of rude and selfish behaviors--in others and in yourself. Try and take the positive energy of Aries to take action on any project that you've wanted to start. Commit to make that decision that you've been processing. Release worry and avoid blaming others or yourself--use your positive thinking to come up with solutions. Meditate and/or state positive affirmations--maybe post some up around the house. Here's a prayer to say: Divine love and wisdom, I call upon you now. I know that my mind and emotions are eternally and continuously connected to you. I ask my Higher Self to be aware and conscious of the love and light that is within every person and every situation.

Weekly reading for September 14-20

Monday starts with the Jewish New Year. While I am not Jewish, I love learning about all the religious holy days. I don't know much about Rosh Hashanah--I know that it is a time of reflecting upon the year past and a contemplation of how to become a more evolved person. It is also a time to celebrate life and to make sweet wishes for the next year. I love the symbolic foods enjoyed to mark this sacred day--apples and honey are among the many other customary foods. May we always remember to celebrate and savor this sweet life!

As we move into fall this month, I am already aware of the coming winter and the end of the Gregorian year. The reading for this week echoes some of the guidance from last week--makes sense, as we near the autumn equinox--this is the time of year to finish projects and harvest all that you've worked so hard this year to sow and grow. Tonight (September 13) is the New Moon. Because we are still in the energies of the solar eclipse--wait until tomorrow night or the next night to set your new moon intentions. I am using the Archangel Oracle cards for the reading.

The first card-- for Monday/Tuesday--is Clairsentience. You are being guided to pay close attention to your feelings--honor them--and don't be afraid, even if you're feelings are intense. Intense feelings help you to decipher the difference between your feelings and feelings of others around you. Your feelings may be of a physical nature, as well as an emotional one--they are of Divine guidance. Notice any repetitions--repetitions create strong messages and the answers you've been praying for. Call upon Archangel Raguel to help you translate these messages and give you clear guidance on the steps to take. Raguel oversees archangels and angels and ensures harmony, cooperation, and order among them all. In the same way, he can help you uncover your feelings, allowing you to be aware of them, comprehend, and follow them. He can also help to bring about peace between you and others. Call upon Raguel if you are in a challenging situation with another person. He can soften the energy and bring about reconciliation and compromise.

The second card--for Wednesday/Thursday--is You Know What to Do. This card echoes the energies of the previous one and takes it one step further--TRUST your inner wisdom and take action.You are wiser that you realize--if you listen to your inner guidance--you will uncover the answers that you seek. If you have doubts, call upon Archangel Uriel for clear signs to validate your thoughts, feelings, and ideas. He can help you make decisions about the next steps to take and take action! If you call upon Archangel Uriel for guidance, you must be willing to work with him to really take this action.
When working with him, remember that while he can bring about clarity and validation--he illuminates one step at a time--you may not be able to clearly see the overall picture of the outcome of your actions. But one thing is for sure, you WILL know what step to take next. Keep calling upon Uriel for guidance, and he will light up each step along the way.

The third card--for the weekend--is Brilliant Idea! This card is also connected to Uriel--there's a natural flow of this week and each day syncing with the energies of the previous, the current, and the next day. You are guided to action again this weekend, just like the last. Your idea(s) may push your comfort zone, but remember that God doesn't give you more than you can handle. Ask for, but be willing to receive, all the support you need to bring this to fruition. Uriel can give you ideas and creative insights to support your life's purpose. He can give you a boost of confidence. Some other guidance that is coming up is to be extra mindful of your diet this weekend--you may feel an urge to eat a lot of unhealthy foods--offset this urge by doing some self-care, like getting a healing Reiki energy session, massage, hike in the woods, meditation, or doing something creatively healing.

Archangel Power Tarot Reading for Tuesday, September 8-Sunday, September 13

This is a powerful week indeed. This is a timely card--seeing as we are entering the eclipse season--solar eclipse is this weekend. The card for Tuesday/Wednesday is The Sun! This is a major arcana card--one of the most powerful cards in tarot. This week holds much potential for success, action, and deep happiness. This card is reminding us to keep our thoughts positive, especially on these days. You may be receiving recognition for your creative hard work on Tuesday or Wednesday. Call upon Archangel Uriel for help--Uriel can bring you great ideas. He can also heal you if you're feeling sad--he can bring about understanding. Uriel can help you focus, concentrate, and give you a boost of confidence. 

The card for Thursday/Friday is Six of Ariel. The harvest is coming in---allow for it. There is magic in the flow of giving and receiving. Sometimes we need a reminder to receive--especially women. Accept what good things are coming to you with gratitude. This assistance, while often times is money, it could also be a service that you receive or an energetic blessing. If you're being called to give at this time, make sure you consider what the other person truly needs. If you are giving--give in a way that empowers the other person along their journey. Archangel Ariel is the angel of the material realm. She is connected to nature and animals. Call upon her if you are worried about finances and your material needs not being met. She brings in a breath of fresh air and assists in motivating you to get started on whatever it is that you need to--a project, exercising, etc. 

The card for Saturday/Sunday is Knight of Gabriel--this is a Court card, which means it can represent a person or a situation. Since this is a reading for everyone--it can mean either. I'm getting the message for most of you, it will be about a situation. This weekend will be very active. You will be very excited to get started. You are being guided to think through everything carefully before you start--when you do, things will go smoothly and quickly. This is a time to really listen to your inner guidance--you WILL know what to do and will feel passionate about it. There's a lot of energy around creativity this weekend--you will really enjoy whatever you do to express yourself and your artistry. The solar eclipse occurs during the early morning hours of Sunday. You might feel a little restless and have trouble sleeping on Saturday night. This will be balanced by the passion and energy that you will feel about whatever it is that you're wanting to accomplished. The meaning of this card for those of you who have the people version of this card--the person you will be with this weekend will be very adventurous, charismatic, and confident. As we are getting nearer to Fall Equinox, which is on the 23rd, I am mindful of the end of summer. If you live in a state like I do, Arkansas--it's still very hot. We are being guided to savor the last days of summer, and give thanks for all the growth that happened during this season. Think about all you've accomplished over these past 3 months and be grateful for the growth, opportunities, and lessons you've experienced.
